Emny Castillo is a Latina powerhouse. She was born in the 80's in Santo Domingo,
Dominican Republic. She was raised in NYC & Miami. Emny is the oldest of 6 children. Her influences growing up were well educated, strong and determined women, who followed their dreams despite many heart-breaking tribulations. As a young girl she fell in love with art and poetry. Acting and cooking came after. As a child she was always the center of attention even though she was shy. From a very young age she loved entertaining by re-enacting scenes and dancing routines she saw in movies. Emny's rebellious nature caused her to never follow the norm and cultivate the need to always express her right to be who she is while still letting people be who they are. These qualities definitely show in her work and everything she does. Let's not forget about her vivacious personality which always leaves you wanting to know more. Emny has fulfilled a multitude of accomplishments using her discipline and determination paired with her creative nature which became an important driving factor in all her achievements. Even with all her many accomplishments, she's still on the rise, gaining momentum and coming into more success in several different lanes.
Emny's egregious entrepreneurial skills, endurance, and her forte of hustle is extremely inspiring.
She rose in local fashion shows in Miami and worked in the Caribbean scene doing music videos for Movado, Baby Cham, Sean Paul, and Da'Ville to name a few. She has also worked with many American artists such as Meek Mills, Akon, Pitbull, and Flo-Rida, amongst many others. She's has hosted events for Breast Cancer Awareness in Miami and NY, interviewing artist and featured designers. Emny has blessed various runways with her "Now" undeniably amazing walk. She ventured into owning a restaurant in South Carolina. Soon after she encountered a traumatic life experience while in an abusive relationship that left her handicapped and unable to walk for a few years until she was able to fully recover and walk again. Now she walks with a new swag and vigor for life that is extremely inspiring to witness. She has walked the runway for Chicago Latino Fashion Week in Illinois, Swim week in Miami and Fashion week in NYC. She has been a part of interviewing celebrities in local movie premieres, as well as hosting and interviewing artists for MATV and a few other networks at Caribbean concerts in Miami and Los Angeles. She has traveled the world and modeled for several magazine covers, boutiques, online stores, and hosted several Miami/Chicago/NY nightlife party events. Emny has appeared as an extra in several movies including Bad Boys 3 as well as several tv shows including Love & Hip-hop Miami while working with Ethnicity Models in Miami. She has been casted by Mann Robinson's Studios LLC in Atlanta for several projects which are soon to be released in 2023. Sebastian the movie and On ten the series to name a few. Emny is not solely in front of the camera, she loves being a part of the production team. Casting roles, teaching Spanish on set, managing the hair and makeup team, assisting in styling, and coaching models and other actors before and during production. She is a licensed Cosmetologist and an Eyelash extension expert which has led to Emny working with the Style Network, Celebrity Salons, and assisting talented photographers in their projects.
Her love for Bikini's and living in South Miami Beach has led Emny to her current business venture- Celeste Swim. Celeste Swim will launch in Jan. 2024. The company was inspired by her late grandmother Celeste Lafontaine who was an exceptional seamstress and well-known wedding dress designer in Dominican Republic. Celeste Swim LLC is uniquely designed by Emny and inspired by her love of bikinis, the beach, and her desire to empower women. Celeste Swim's designs specialize in encouraging women to love themselves.
She also has a nonprofit organization in the works called Silent Mariposas. SilentMariposas.org will help and support women in rebuilding their lives after going through the many adversities they encounter while in abusive relationships. One day, she hopes to open a women's relocation center which will offer jobs at Celeste Swim, giving women the opportunity, support, and confidence, they need to transform their lives.
Staying true to her feminine sensual nature and her love of cooking, she has been working on a sexy cooking show called "Serve it Sexy" which will feature a variety of favorite foods from around the world while having conversations encouraging women and teaching them how to cultivate healthy fruitful relationships, regain confidence in themselves, love their bodies, become better partners, while also learning new recipes and how to serve their significant other.
Cooking has always been one of her most favorite passions. and she still dreams of one day owning a small boutique style caffe' offering sexy bikinis for sale for all of you to enjoy.
